Hi Raymond and friends!

Webroot Window Washer 6.5 ( $ 29,99 ) is a system cleansing and optimisation tools ( wich basically washes away all traces of your PC and Internet activity and improve system performance ) coming from a serious software developer like Webroot, known mainly for his security solutions.

Note that, though not very well appreciated in the Matousec test but a quite popular product, the Webroot Desktop Firewall ( formerly $ 19,95 ) is now FREE.

Of course there are so many good free alternatives, starting with CCleaner for the cleaning tool and the free promotions for O&O SafeErase 3 or iolo DriveScrubber for the eraser part.

The positive aspect of this promotion would be the fact that one gets for free the latest version ( and build ) of a good quality looking tool.

how long does it last for free using? and is it the newest version ( can I press the " check for update" button)?

It is the latest version and you can use the update button.I don't know if you'll be able to upgrade to a newer version or no.I don't think this updates very often does it?

Window Washer is good and using this for quite a long time but i prefer CCleaner. Webroot is slow at updating their products, esp. this one.

Window washer hasn't updated it's program in several months but it's a decent program that I've been using for a couple years now. The version you get in this free offer is the most recent with all the plugins currently available from Webroot.
