I really apologize to say two thing about this Legal key which u have posted here....

1. It is not the Legal Key.

2. This key has been generated from a Keygen.

Last but not least...

This key has been generated from New Embrace Keygen. And now everybody wants to know how can i say this?? So guys i would like to ask all of you to look at the key here 8MEH-REDSL-7ETEC-ULA8R-EAOKL-4EMBR-ACED

All you can see that i have highlighted last 8 words...which actually creates a word EMBRACED...Now i guess you guys are cleared. If still not then google on it.

But one thing i am 101% sure that it is not the legal one it is generated by New Embrace Keygen....

That is why it was not at all accepted on AVG Online Key Scanner..as the Key was not in their Database.

But why it was accepted in AVG AV as because there is a flaw in the suite.

Another suspicious element! Why limite a key to 145.000 activiations, no PC Magazine has only about that much readers who would be willing to use this promo...

(If it is meant only for one-time use, why in the world is AVG still accepting the use of this key???; I don't know about the AVG Online-Key-Checker and why it is not accepting the key as valid; but one thing for sure I know is that if you install the program and use this key, AVG still ACCEPTS it as valid.

My Virtual PC does not have Internet connection, so my data (the key) was not send to the servers of AVG, and so who cares...

It's not 18 years free updates...it's just 9 years free updates for AVG Antivirus Pro and 9 years free updates for AVG Internet Security...these two things are not the same...

This is wrong. It is not up to you to decide as to whether this is illegal or not.
You could have said this instead:

"I think this is illegal."

There is a whole lot of difference to it.

OK guys calm inorder to check that key [ i know this is illegal but just for user satisfaction ]:

I noticed this when i was using AVG a year ago...

Thier Updates are of 3 types [ correct me if wrong ]: Recommended, Critical and Optional.

On a fresh non updated install with automatic updates disabled Use that key update only one of the above say Optional, just reboot n try for the other updates if they are visible n updating the key is good to use, but if they have disappeared n u get updates in hardly any KB's then throw that key in recycle bin..

this is the way i tested AVG keys found many illegal n one or two legal...I never used keys on their online checker it puts them in their blacklist database...

Hello everybody. I just want to say that I've used this key some months ago, before christmas. This is an old find. I didn't know at the time that it was illegal, I thought it was a failure of the company, and so installed the software. During some weeks everything worked as it was supposed, until I've received a message from AVG saying that I was using software illegally, because the key was illegal, and that I would have to choose between the free edition or to buy a licence. And they stoped the updates of the version I had installed. Of course I've uninstalled the software. At the same time, I have started using Avira Premium and I am very happy with it. Much better than AVG.

Antivirus... 100 Mgb to uninstall !

I used this like 6 months ago on my son's computer but it was v8 at that time and not v8.5.I couldn't believe the hit on his system compared to Avira.I ran it for 3 days,I didn't think at the time that it gave me the firewall either.They've had problems with updates in the past and I assume they got that straightened out now.
