Get Kaspersky Internet Security free

I was Googling around trying to find a new promo for Kaspersky and I 'accidentally' found a key 'leaked' by techmixer.com here:

If you go to the link the above, you would see that Techmixer is sharing an old promo meant for customers of UBS in Switzerland which also works for any other user. The activation code shared was:

T6B6K-8YK22-VBQH7-ZUZJG

However, this promo has been discontinued and the code above is no longer valid.

Good news though is that if you take a look properly on that site, Techmixer has 'accidentally' shared an activation code in a picture. Here is the picture:



Simply use the activation code found in the picture above and enter it in the 'Activation code' field at this page:

Leave the Customer ID and Password fields blank. Click on the “Download Key” button to download your free license key. Activate KIS 2009 with the downloaded key.

Note 1: I can't find a working link to download KIS 2009. (torrents and rapidshare links are not counted here) All I can find is a working link to download Kaspersky Anti Virus 2009 (KAV 2009) instead.

Note 2: Since I can't find KIS 2009 download link, you might want to try the key with the latest version, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 (KIS 2010) instead. Who knows...the key might work with KIS 2010.

Note 3: I have no idea how long the key works. It might be 6 months...it can also be 1 year. Nevertheless, you can always 'extend' the use of KIS by simply activating the “Trial Version” first which allows user to use 1 month free and then activate using the downloaded key at the end of free trial period.

Note 4: Most importantly, I can't guarantee if any of this works. Sorry.

hello safeguy, thanks for the post, I will try to use it (I hope I can do with existing running KIS 2009), if you need to download the KIS it's always better to do it from it's own site. Sorry but I hope that it's not violating any rules of forum.

Sorry but seems that it will not work, as information given in the link below they have created another link through login in UBS control panel.

Didn't work. Try entering both keys into KIS 2010, it didn't want to accept it. Thanks anyway...

This key was around for quite some time already and it is a "trial" license, not commercial.
Once you've activated a 30 day trial license before, you cannot use this key.
Also, if you've activated a commercial paid license before, you cannot go back to trial again.

Sorry Raymond and the rest here. I didn't know that the key is a 'trial' license. I know I should have tried it first but I was just too eager to 'share' this. My apologies.
