An overview:
Quoted from Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_SharePointMicrosoft SharePoint, also known as Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies, is a collection of products and software elements that includes, among a growing selection of components, Internet Explorer–based collaboration functions, process management modules, search modules and a document-management platform.[1] SharePoint can be used to host web sites that access shared workspaces, information stores and documents, as well as host defined applications such as wikis and blogs. All users can manipulate proprietary controls called "web parts" or interact with pieces of content such as lists and document libraries.

I believe that this was going around several months ago as well... Keep in mind that it's not a A"website" designer. It's only useful if you are in charge of an actual SharePoint....

OK, I'm purposely bumping this for newbies. I was browsing on the web past few days and I came across a site where someone was asking for Sharepoint Designer 2007 crack...and I had a laugh for that. The bloke seem not to know that it's free now.

P.S. Hope moderators don't mind me bumping this.

Strange, on MS site they wrote that MSD2007 is free now so i understand this is for free forever and not a temporary promotion, this explain why Amazon sold for 299 and now 89, probably they are runing for clear the store before the people know that MSD2007 is free, hehe.
Good soft and good news friend, thank you.
