    i have avira premium internet security too. i discovered that avira brakes dramatically the speed of computer: instead 180kB/s in download i have only 100!

    i install yestarday Panda and it run with 180kB/s without any problem. it take 2G more plase on the hard disk, but it is nothing. the computer fly.

    today is the last day of panda promoution!

    Just a little help :

    Step 1. Download and install 7-Zip:
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Compres...ls/7-Zip.shtml

    Step 2. Download the following Kit to Desktop.
    http://www.kasperskyusa.com/custom/n....0.0.506en.exe

    Step 3. Right click on the kit downloaded in step two and choose 7-Zip -> Extract to kis8.0.0.506en

    Step 4. You will see a Desktop folder named kis8.0.0.506en

    Step 5. Go into the folder and you'll find a file setup.reg.

    Step 6. Setup.reg Right click and choose Edit.
    Notepad opens and it shows:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP8\Settings]
    "Ins_ActivationCode" = "XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"

    The right to
    "Ins_ActivationCode" = "XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"
    activation code is valid 60 days

    Copy it into a new text file.

    Download Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 9.0.0.463 using the link:

    Install it and use the key in step 6 to activate.

    Step 1. not required

    Step 2. Download the following Kit to Desktop.

    Step 3. double click kis8.0.0.506en . you will see a window with extracting..

    Step 4. click cancel button when "preparing to install" window appears

    Step 5. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab Setup Files\Kaspersky Internet Security 2009\english and you'll find a file setup.reg.

    step 6 onwards refer murphy's comment
