    Cool Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 free for students

    Microsoft DreamSpark offers select high school and university students free use of Windows Server 2008 R2: Standard Edition.

    "Windows Server 2008 R2 is the most advanced Windows Server operating system yet, designed to power the next-generation of networks, applications, and Web services. With Windows Server 2008 R2 you can develop, deliver, and manage rich user experiences and applications, provide a highly secure network infrastructure, and increase technological efficiency and value within your organization."

    To obtain this software, you must first log in with or create a Windows Live ID and then verify that you're a student by choosing your school from a list and logging in with your student information. Once verified, you will be prompted to download an ISO image of the software.

    I ever look at dreamspark site. Just one information more, i think exists some time limitation, may be 2 years if i'm not wrong.

    You bet! This is a good opportunity that students should not pass. I have classmates in high school who have gone on to college. They expressed gladness to be notified about this.
