Good question. Photo Manager 8 (free) is renamed Photo Maker 9 on US site? I don't see anything about a Photo Manager 9 on US site.

"Photo Manager 9" reminds me a bit of Ashampoo Photo Commander. Like Photo Commander, you can also create thumbnails of video files, and play them on the internal media player. A bit funny really, both of these pushed as photo catalog and editors, but also handle multimedia (don't know how many codecs are supported?). After registration, was able to download free "Magix MovieShow Maker" for creating photo slideshows, and "Magix Xtreme Photo Designer 6" for editing. You are prompted to download these add-ons when you start playing with the programmes menu options.
Overall looks pretty good - even if it is normally free, and not a special freebie

    Thank you, Sibill.

It's MAGIX's web that has gotten me confused ... I was so tired too. I got too weary of shuttling between their EU and US sites.

You don't need to register "After a test period of seven days". You can do it immidietly.
