    The last time Antivirus 1.61 was given away, I registered it 3 times and I got 3 distinct registration keys. The installer from the download link given by optimus prime above has exactly the same file name, with very small size difference from the one I previously obtained.

    I haven't tried running it, but I've heard that ashampoo Antivirus 1.61 is rebranded Avira Antivir Personal -- which is already FREE.

    Just my observation.

    You're right my friend . Ashampoo AntiVirus 1.61 is using the Avira AntiVir technology . It has a good detection and AVIRA updated heuristic engine. And ...yes.... that license was for 6 months but Avira Avtivir Personal ...like you said is free .
