    How to completely uninstall windows live messenger 2009

    i tried add/remove but didn't work
    i have windows xp pro sp3!

    here take a look: (i have nothing related to windows live but still when i try to install wlm i het that its already install! i need to uninstall it then install it again, thanks!)

    Download and install Revo Uninstaller from here and then use the program to uninstall corrupted WLM and it's leftover registry keys.

    Try downloading Revo Uninstaller or CCleaner, and see if it's under there. I know my school's 'SafeConnect' wizard is like that.

    thanks for your help! but still!! i uninstalled everything related to windows live using this program: revo
    i even choosed the advanced mode and deleted everything in the registry but it still detects that wlm is installed

    i did, there is no longer a windows live folder there!

    so i tried installing silverlight (from the 104MB installer all products)
    then deleted everything incl. registry files using revo but now when i try to install windows live installer tells me that wlm and silverlight are installed (but neither is!!)
