Invalid Created Dates on some files

    Hi there,

I've identified that I have several files which have an invalid (corrupt?) file Created Date. Most of these files I've must of downloaded from an FTP.

Correcting such a file individually is straightforward. However...

I have an application that fails to operate properly due to such files with invalid Create dates.

Is there a tool out there, which I can run to scan all my files and identify which files have an invalid date in the Created Date file property, and perhaps even attempt to fix it or at least generate a list of these files.

See attached screen-shots indicating that date is invalid. In Windows explorer, it doesn't even show a value, but under properties the year value is 15301.

I already have programs that allow me to modify the dates. I just need a program to find the affected files.

I want all affected files affected.

I've already sent an email to the developers of that program that fails to run properly when it scans such affected files. I told them to fix their code to 'correct' invalid dates.

    Thanks!

Woah that is a bad date.
Use FileDate Changer to set a new date on the file.

As stressed many times in my original post, I need a tool to identify such files, so I can modify the affected only files. That's the challenge of this topic.

I don't want to update all my files. I've already got tools to modify the values.

    Thanks

Oops, my bad. Now that's a tough one. I don't know if there is a tool or method to search for files created on 15301. Maybe someone else have a solution for this?

Windows file manager should automatically fix such issues.
