    Confused Mcafee siteadvisor or norton safeweb or WOT

    i just wanted to know which is best among Mcafee siteadvisor or norton safeweb or WOT........................
    in vista i use only WOT..........just scared whether siteadvisor will slow my system......................
    in xp i use both...........................

    I would recommend only WOT. It is enough for secure browsing. Plus, WOT should be backed up by Common sense (for browsing) else it is of practically no use.

    BTW, McAfee Siteadvisor isn't worse either nor will it slow down your PC.

    I'm not a fan of their security suite,but how about this with real time technology.No mention of the effect on surfing speed.

    i also recommend using WOT because McAfee site advisor wouldnt block malicules sites unless ur version is "plus" and norton safe web thing wouldnt work if u dont have norton products installed in ur system(not sure) but WOT is free and also blocks unwanted sites. besides if u have firefox and WOT its more than enough because firefox analysises(something) with google in every site that the user vists.

    I was using WOT before and found out AVG LinkScanner recently, trying it and see how it goes

    I've been using WOT about a year now, and like it. One of my favorite features is the way it rates each link that a Google search produces (as well as the Google ads).
    (BTW, I was the first user to rate Raymond CC in WOT; nearly a year ago.

    I used to use WOT + Browser Defender, but now I use LinkExtend. Browsing speed is slowed down a little and configuration is needed to make it comfortable to use, but it is a fantastic website link checker
