    Refunction buttons on laptop

I have a toshiba satellite laptop. First off they're one of the most horrible laptops to downgrade to xp No drivers like anywhere.
Anyways, so there's some 'media' buttons on the left part of the keyboard (like next play stop ..etc)

When I downgraded the laptop, the buttons lost their purpose and don't do anything now. Is there anyway to make them work like media buttons for like itunes or VLC?

Vista drivers are readily available but XP is a little outdated, anyway I'd figure they would have some kind of program or driver that controls that, if there isn't any on the Toshiba site then good luck in finding anything, I haven't ever heard of any third party products being able to do it but maybe someone else can help you.

Sounds like you had Vista, but went to XP, right? Try installing the Vista drivers and see if they'll work on XP. I don't think anybody had the 'media buttons' prior to Vista versions, so if they wont work, I think you're out of luck.
