How do i burn .avi to dvd

Hello guys and girls,anyone know how to burn .avi video to dvd and keeping them seperate?,i have 4 .avi videos, i found a program called replay converter, it will convert and burn the files to dvd,but it burned it as 1 loong file, i want to have the option to pick which video i want to watch when i insert the dvd, you know what program i need to use?.
I have nero 6, after playing with it for a while i couldn't figure out how to do it, or if it can be done with that program, anyways any help will be appreciated.

if your dvd player is divx certified then just burn a data dvd

Alternately, with pictures, each using different software, both payware and freeware.

Thanks for the replies, through the links posted i found exactly what i needed, convertXtoDVD and avi2vd will do the trick, 1 is 50 bucks the other is free,i'll try them both, thanks again
