Hate Yahoo!!!

Well i have to say i slowly have started to develop a hate for yahoo. i never use yahoo search nor yahoo mail even yahoo messenger. When i install yahoo toolbar it changes my default search engine to yahoo so never use yahoo toolbar too. so what u guys think about yahoo, u guys still use its features...

well i agree but not completely. it's true yahoo services suck but it's one of the most popularly used here in the Phils especially messenger and mail.

Instead of hating it, just do solve the problem

Just uninstall you Yahoo toolbar and you don't have any problem...

You can configure the settings of your browser and change to default "home page" or your own personal page.

Yahoo! tool bar is often not that easy to uninstall...it's like malware...designed not to be removed.

Firefox Browser -> *After Installing the Tool bar ( via add-ons ) Restart --> Firefox Browsing Option will pop-up to configure your "homepage" and " search engine"

Uninstallations --> Yahoo Tool bar ( via add-ons ) -> Uninstall - Restart Firefox and its Gone

I was a addicted user of yahoo messenger once. But today the story has been changed as y-messenger had changed from a place to meet friends to just like an advertising medium. Full of spams.

I quite like Yahoo. I use their mail and messenger. I never get the Yahoo Toolbar as I always use custom install and/or untick the 'Install Yahoo! Toolbar Message'

ya, even i love yahoo. u should read there history!!! they started with nothing. they where one of the first to improve our ability to use the world wide web. and personly i dont like the idea of yahoo's new CEO(woman) making that search deal with MS. i wish jerry yang was still in charge. if he was he would never allowed his work to be bought over!!!
and for ur problem u can choose not to install the toolbar or uninstall it and also choose not to make it ur home pg or change ur home pg like ceyfer said.

Personally, I have never been a fan of Yahoo.

I started out with using Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger...and I have sticked to it ever since (although I do have Gmail accounts).

As for search engine, I started out with using MSN/Live Search but now, I prefer Google. Google is the King of search engine (as far as I am concerned).

Yahoo used to be greater than MSN but I can't say that for sure for now. I do know of people who use Ymail and keep getting heavily spammed. It seems that Yahoo anti-spam feature is rather terrible (don't quote me on that, it isn't based on stats lol)

And as for Yahoo toolbar...yes, it can rather be 'annoying' having to uncheck it when installing certain programs BUT hey, almost all toolbars are like that...personally I don't really find a need for toolbars and sorts.

In short, Yahoo is not for me.
