Unabale to Reformat
I wanted to reformat my laptop. Unfortunately, when I loaded in my Vista CD, it just boot up like normal. It didn't even bring me to the page to format. I tried my driver CD which I burned, nothing happen. It just boot up like normal. I then tried Kaspersky Rescue Disc, it didn't get booted up. It went to the welcome screen of Vista and my computer booted up like normal.
Now I am worried as how am I going to reformat my laptop in the future?
How am I going to reformat my laptop and have Windows 7 running since all CD I put in don't work?
HELP!!!!!
I need my laptop to recognize bootable disc...Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

I have another question. Why is it on my house desktop, when I plug in a pendrive more than 1GB, my computer will stop at the energy star page? The same thing happen if I use an external hard disk. But then when I removed the pendrive/hard disk, it will continue booting.
But if I use a 256mb pendrive, it boot up like normal
Care to explain?

It might be booting off your USB, thinking there is a file on it to boot from. Just leave your flash drive unplugged.
