Unable to reformat
I have always use a CD which I have to install in my XP.
I need to reinstall as when my computer came back from the shop, it was not functioning nicely. I don't want to send to them again as it will cause money.
However, my CD could not be read. The funny thing was my Vista CD could be read so does my Kaspersky Rescue Disc. Any ideas? I I have set all my boot up to boot from CD in the BIOS.
Please help.Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

My CD is new. Less than one year. I use reformat my PC using that CD about a month ago.
Before upgrading, my CD work perfectly.
But I don't like the shop XP. So I wanted to use my CD. But now is not working. Could it be my CD is faulty? But when I boot up normally (after windows loaded, my computer-> cd) , it could read...
My PC can run vista. SHould I as it was upgraded?
Edit : There is somethng wrong with my CD as when I tried to run it on my laptop, it game me error too,
I am installing vista and hoping for the best...Last edited by LunarWolf; 10-16-2009 at 01:11 AM.

Everytime I test the disc by popping it into the laptop, it will show me a BSOD (XP DVD) after a while of loading. I am burning it with Imgburn using a bunch of new DVDs on my desktop. The desktop is the one I want to reformat. I think my burner is spoil as it cannot recognize my XP DVD.
It could recognize vista Dvds though.
What to do? Send to the shop?
