How do you play games without using disc

Hi all,I have 4 children who seem to constantly have very sticky fingers and no matter how many times i tell them not to touch the shiny side of the disc,they always mange to do it,also they never put them away,and most of my games collection dont work anymore,full of scratches etc..
Is there a way that I can play the games without having to use the disc all of the time,someone suggested a program called jackel but I would like some other opinions first,or if someone could explain how to use jackel,i havent installed jackel yet,but will do If needed.

usually by playing an image of the cd you can use Daemon toolls or at Nero toolkit Nero image drive
