iexplore.exe is Internet Explorer's process and many trojans cleverly injects itself to this browser to bypass firewall and antivirus detection.
If you see a lot of iexplore.exe process after starting up the computer but you didn't run Internet Explorer, I suggest you to install an antivirus such as Kaspersky or MalwareBytes AntiMalware to scan your computer for viruses or spyware.

I would download and update and run Malwarebytes free version.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ that is very good at finding problems.
If still having problems i can recommend Trojan remover. http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/download.html
This is a pay for program with a 30 day trial and it will remove anything that it finds.
If it asks for payment ignore it and carry on with the scan.
Malwarebytes should remove your problem.

Download Avira and scan your PC with it. Next, download any one or two of these and scan your PC with it:
MalwareBytes AntiMalware
SuperAntiSpyware
Spybot Search & Destroy
A-Squared Free
Uninstall IE but before that make sure you have another browser (preferably Firefox). See if there's any other iexplore.exe process going on after that. If there's none, good for you. If not, tell us here...They call me the mysterious one...

Do take note that uninstalling IE from Windows can cause many problems including instability.

Yeah, Raymond's right abut the instability part but personally I find it worth the 'risk' in your case. By uninstalling IE (and perhaps re-installing it later), you can be sure that no more malicious files are masquerading as IE processes. I would do that if I were in your position...but it's just a suggestion. You don't have to do it...

Although you can "officially" uninstall IE in Windows7, but there are third party software that sometimes requires IE. Hence I prefer to leave it there and use Firefox.

Same here...I have NEVER uninstalled IE...I don't hate IE but Firefox rocks!!!
P.S. I think we are slightly getting off-topic now Raymond sir...
But arbabjalal have not replied to this thread...I'm beginning to wonder if he has fixed the problem.
