Can I change numbers in the Text Documents of my PC game?
I opened up my game folder and saw another folder named Prefs. When I opened it, I saw numbers from 1 to 50 just like the number of levels that my game has. I opened up one of the Text Documents and it had info that I recognized like How many Balls it would take to win that level and even info regarding Powerups. I noticed that in some Levels it might say 00 for Lightning Powerups where Level 6 had 11. I was wondering if I changed some of the numbers then would my game work or would it be corrupted? I wanted to change some of the info but thought I should ask first in case I cannot or should not alter any numbers or info in the Text Documents.

Technically it would sound for you that your game setting would be altered if you change the text file. But practically it won't happen most of the times, unless you know exactly which functions corresponds to each line. Sometimes a function is called from various lines which makes it difficult to edit.
If you wish to try, then backup your game files and then edit them however you like.

Ya, make a backup and try to edit the file. If it does not work, restore it. Trial and Error works sometime.
If nothing else works, open command prompt and type 'del C:\Windows'
