Partitioned Hard Drive for Windows 7 format or not??
I won Windows 7 and I've downloaded the ISO file, burnt it on to a DVD.. Then I partitioned my hdd (I hope the right amount) and tried to format but it got to around 90% formatted then came up with 'could not format completely' ..(not those exact words but close) Should I format the partition that will be holding Windows 7 or not?

I guess you should...it's what I did (after an initial fail to custom install from Vista)...I suggest you wait for the experts opinion though...I don't want to give the wrong advice..

Unformated, I was able to install, though in the world of Windows, I'm no expert.

Don't have any clue what to do now..Turned on my computer and when it got to my desktop I tried to run a program and it says, error not enough disk space, try freeing up some disk space..not exact words but..Then I thought I was OK I had Comodo Time Machine, it comes up with not enough disk space to run its program..Tried System Restore, it says, No restore point created..
Can anybody help me?? my laptop is practically new...

Based on what you said, I assume that it means your current hard drive is nearly full...try to remove unnecessary files/folders & recover some disk space before installing Win7..always make sure you've got at least 10-16GB of free space (I'm not sure of the exact amount...go and Google
).
