Triple Boot: Vista, Ubuntu, Windows 7 "Vista and Ubuntu Installed"
First i would like to know if anyone know how to do this
Windows Vista Home Premium x64 = Primary Disk
Ubuntu 9.10 x64 = Image made by Wubi
Windows 7 x64 = 2nd Partition
But how to install windows 7 on the 2nd partition?
can i still boot on Ubuntu? and Vista?

Install vista on primary(first) partition. since Wubi installs Ubuntu as an application of windows you can choose to install it on the same drive as vista.
Now install windows 7 on 2nd partition.
I am having everything similar to it except that vista is replaced by xp in my pc.Last edited by kavinraja; 01-25-2010 at 06:55 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

mate nothing to discourage you but i just lost all data in my 250 gb hard drive trying to do this.so always be careful while doing this.As you have installed with wubi just install 7,it would recongnise vista and which in turn has ubuntu.

I had something like this before but it was Vista,XP, (Wubi) Ubuntu triple-boot...
But if I was jcgo16, I would have tried to triple-boot Win7, XP (not Vista), and Ubuntu....but to each his own, right
They call me the mysterious one...

right safeguy
i might try to make a quad-boot
i dont know what os i will add, maybe mac?
- 01-26-2010 #8
Nice idea theoretically but it's gonna be hard to implement...making a hackintosh (mac os on PC) itself is a complicated process from what I've Googled...I don't think it's possible for you to do a quad-boot with that. But if you do, tell us...we're gonna submit that to Guinness World Record

P.S. Why would you want to do that lol? I've had the chance to triple-boot & I find myself using only 1-2 OS at most...

You gonna mess up your pc man.
If you wish to try so many os the just use virtual machines like VMware and install them within that. Thats the safest way to try something.
