    My wireless internet connection disconnects like every 20 minutes and then for me to connect back, it takes me like 5 minutes. This has been happening like for 3 weeks and I would like to know how to fix it or do I have to buy a new Wireless Router or what, Please Help

    What brand is your router because it happens to me too sometimes though. I use netgear WgR614

    Maybe you should try updating your firmware. That used to happen to me quite often, but I fixed the problem by updating it. I'm currently using a NETGEAR WGR614v6 router. :)

    Some of the things you need to do if you have this kinda problems with your router. Do a factory default settings reset.

    Actually this is advised to do when you use the wireless router for the first time.

    If that doesn't work, look for the latest router firmware.

    ok I'll do that but where can I find the firmware. I am using 2WIRE.

    I checked the firmware version and it says that it is up to date. If is not the firmware what is it? I am still having problems. Should I buy a new Wireless Router.

    Well, before you buy another one, check one more thing. Can you plug the modem directly into a computer in your home. Keep the router completely out of the way. If you still have problems with your connectivity then maybe it's your ISP.
