    but i would rather learn it from a person or a really good guide than some crappy guide.
    anyone reccomend?

    i learned q basic from website and some books not as hard as c++ but i think you can learn some of it and the rest will come by it self any here try this website www.W3school.com good website or by favorite C++ for dummies :D

    I went through the entire book called "How to Program C++" by Deitel & Deitel (Second Edition). It's not free, but any good learning material you are going to have to pay for unless you acquire through illegal means.

    if you dont want to paiy you can aslo find many good ebooks

    not really :( i haven't read any C++ ebooks but i was just telling you that you have another chose.
