I wish so much that I could tell Microsoft Windows XP what order I want the Save As Dialog Box/Look in drop down menu what order I want it to list the different places.
(see link for picture http://ifollowhim.googlepages.com/lookin.jpg )
Instead of Desktop at the top I wish I could put one of my mapped network drives at the top because we use it more frequently.
I have been told this is not possible on other forums but I though somebody here may know of a work around.

I don't think you can change the default save as location, but in Windows XP, at the left side of open or save dialog box, you can define the shortcut location.

Download and install TweakUI
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe
Expand Common Dialogs > Places Bar

The problem is that the specific application that I wanting the tweak for does not have the shortcut side bar as an option.
Planit Solutions Cabinet Vision, is the program I am referencing in case you wanted to know.
So my best bet is probably to lobby them to add the shortcuts bar in an upcoming version.
