    hi ray i recently activate my bios password because i want to find a way to crack it but worst scenario i can`t put it back as it was, i know my password of course this is my laptop and iam using this one at the moment to tell you my story of failure:(, but anyhow i will be happy if you can tell me how to reset it, my laptop model is hp dv6318ea, vista home, core duo 1.73, 1gig, phoenix bios,

    i tried almost all tip and tricks that are available in the net but nothing happend still i need to type the password in order to get into the windows, i wish i never did this:|, coz its really annoying when you are entering the windows,

    i also tried to talk to the customer service of hp company and its sound that they don`t care about it as i was trying to tell them that maybe they have a solution but still they just wasting my money to call them and talk to them with a bunch of so called "can you hold for a minute sir" then the answer is "just deal with sir coz its not our fault, yeah yeah i know why did`nt said so from the very start you just waste my time and money calling a stupid customer service" thats the reason that iam asking for a help from you mr. raymond,

    i always visiting your blog everyday and sometimes giving also some of my idea in mind iam in a name of webcadre,

    hoping that you can help me, try to check tommorow when i got home from work,
    here is 2300hrs now so better go to sleep for a early work,

    Here is a tool that will crack Dell Computer BIOS system.

    You may give it a try. All you have to do is Burn this small ISO file into a CD and run it in you computer.

    I hope that it will help. I haven't tested this software yet.

    Honestly, I don't know how to bypass/reset a laptop bios password. Definitely possible but it's a secret that not many people knows how to do it.

    you can do it if you take out CMOS battery from laptop someway.

    taking out cmos battery from laptop is hell of a task but i think that will be my last resort if by chance that i will really annoy of putting ono a passwprd every time i open my pc

    It's a huge risk opening your laptop and taking out the battery. When you assemble it back, the laptop might not be able to boot. It is NOT an easy task.

    Why not reset the BIOS.. You can do this by setting up jumper (short it) to set it to manufacturer's settings. Refer to the service manual or board layout provided by your laptops distributor...
