    Hey brayden, try plugging the usb drive in Safe Mode. Would like to know whether will it restart your computer after doing that.

    ive seen this problem before... its a fault on the motherboard m8, most likely a dry joint on the usb or the joints have come lose...
    Out of my mind. I Haven't Lost My Mind, It's Backed Up On Disk Somewhere.

    well the motherboard is acually quite new because our orignal one got melted when lighting struck the power lines. :lol: so we now have a Gigabyte technology motherboard from about 2005

    heres tip: just becasue its new dont mean its not faulty ,when u inserting ur usb stick its making a short and shutting down, ive seen this on laptops..

    yer but my bet is it is the power box this isn't the first time we had trouble with our power supply and after the problems we didn't replace it

    after a power outage that went for 1 and a half days doesn't stuff up anymore
