I got this phishing mail:

Our system detected unusual charges to a credit card linked to your PayPal account.

What i say is this: If the sender's e-mail is not from a company, it's obviously a scam, others may be also like the one from uk national lottery so beweare...

I don't have a PayPal account so If they send me one it's obiviously a scam.

You'll have to check the URL carefully. The website usually looks exactly the same but the URL is different.

Any mail from PayPal will address you by your name and not just Dear PayPal member. Even if you do not have a PayPal account it might be worth reporting it to PayPal so they can look into it and warn others.

maybe the best bet is not to make your PayPal e-mail notification a hotmail, g-mail or yahoo e-mail address or it might make it pretty hard to tell the differance between scam or genuine.
