    I found a cool site offering paid versions of the software for free!

    The downside is that you have to install the software given free on the same day before it's time runs out. If something happens to your computer you can't install it on another day

    I believe the license are sponsored and not paid by GAOTD.
    GAOTD should bring in a lot of traffic to the website and the software company can get free promotion when it is advertised at GAOTD. So it's a win-win situation.
