which kaspersky version

i have heard that kespersky is a good antivirus so i wnat use it but which version
there are many versions and i am comfused which to choose.
1. Kaspersky antivirus 7.0
2. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 v8.0.0.357

what is the difference between two and which one is better.

Kaspersky 2009 is definitely the better product. Always use latest versions of softwares except in the case where the latest version of a software is a bloatware.

Among the kaspersky products i feel that kis 2009 is a better one compared to the others

thanx i ahve installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2009
but there is a problem, it doesn't allow IDM to integrate in my browser how should i do that.
i mean how should i make KIS to allow this thing

when installing what did u select when it asked u to choose between
automatic and interactive. (something to do with kaspersky alone desiding what to do and the other was kaspersky doing what the user tells. )

anyway if u want to fix this prob. go to kav main thingy and select the thing with says applications undercontroll thing. then find IDM usally under tonec and move it to trusted by right clicking.

i use kaspersky 7 and it works fine, my pc is totally virus free.
