    Internet Explorer Problem

I figured out, that somehow I got Internet Explorer to only work on my computer when "user account control" is turned off. I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out a way so that it not only works when user account control is turned off but also preferably when it is turned on.

    Thanks

Firstly, make sure you have Vista Service Pack 1 installed. If not, then install it using Windows Update or directly from Microsoft site.
    Then,
Go to Control Panel ->Internet Options->Programs tab->Set Programs button->click on "Set program access and computer defaults". Check the Custom settings and that IE is enabled.

    Restart the PC.

Never heard of this weird problem. Have you tried resetting your Internet Explorer to default settings?
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset button.

Yes, if IE is not working then it doesn't mean that we should abandon IE. We first need to find out the problem to prevent it from spreading.
