okay i officially hate the "Mojave ecperience"

I search for an AV that is vista 64 compatable. It appears that none of my older hardware and most of my fav games will not run in vista 64. i even try changing the setings to run with XP in the properties menu.I loved Xp and never hesitated to try a tweak on it and had it running perfectly but with this laptop i hate to even use it. Why would MS allow the release of an OS that was not fully tested and wha tis in store next year for WINDOWS 7??? Are there any other issues that i may encounter PLZ tell me now i really miss the days where i could spend hourss playing games and stuff

Well I never liked Windows Vista. I've given it many chances but it kept on crashing on different occasions which I'd never get in XP. There are some Vista users here and sometimes I really wonder why aren't there any problems?

Windows Vista 64-bit is a bit different from the regular versions of Vista. It has been designed for new hardware-structure. Also, most of the programs are designed for 32-bit editions of Vista, so you might face problems with the 64-bit OS. Furthermore, Vista 64-bit takes up a lot more Hard disk space (around 15GB) compared to Vista 32-bit (7.8GB). Again, many errors you get are due to hardware problems or incompatibility.

If you are not satisfied with Windows Vista, then you can always downgrade to Windows XP.

So you're saying that Vista is sensitive? Or Acer is selling bad combination of hardware? I still can't believe that my Acer laptop is still so new and fresh but I've already experienced a few crashes.

    definition of vista

Vista in my opinion is a good looking OS that is less performant:

    Performance/stability Good Looking
    [X------------------------------------] - Xp
    [-------------------------X-----------] - Vista

the thing about vista is an expensive "commercial junk" ,
and sort of "Easy to use" "friendly interface" type OS.
that is FORCELY promoted cuz the new hardware drivers are ONLY supported for this OS , and few have support for other OS -s.

on other words , Vista is BUSSINESS. not quality product!
