odie pls do not mind me.okay.pls how to i do this changes
    1.
First method is to change the SATA Mode to IDE in BIOS. My computer BIOS is Phoenix AwardBIOS 6.00PG and I can change the SATA Mode to IDE by going to Integrated Peripherals > SATA Devices Configuration > SATA Mode [RAID] and change to [IDE]
    .2
If you’re unable to change RAID mode to IDE or disable SATA in BIOS, then you need to download SATA RAID drivers from your motherboard manufacturer’s website, extract the drivers to a floppy disk and then insert the floppy to your computer during Windows XP installation.
please how do i do this it is quite difficult for me since am a beginnner.thanks for reading and replying me.my computer is hp530.

To change the SATA mode in your BIOS you need to do the following:

When you start up your PC there will be a message displayed on your screen which looks something like "Press F2 to enter Setup".
Once you have pressed the relevant key, you will enter your BIOS configuration.
You now need to find the setting for "SATA Mode" (Directions on how to navigate the menus is displayed at the bottom of your screen).
Once you found the setting for SATA Mode you scroll to it by using the cursor keys.
Change the value to IDE by using the relevant keys displayed at the bottom of your screen. It probably would be F5/F6.
    Now Press F10
    Highlight Yes and press Enter
Your PC should now be able to recognize your HDD.
