Want 2 manage/clean & speed up windows XP

Is there a truely free full version program that is easy to use to manage/clean up & speed up my windows XP pro ?? Please Help. Thanks ahead to all. yours truely TeachMeWant2Learn

You can try CCleaner (free) or Advanced SystemCare PRO (it's not free but you can get it for free using license code)

Speeding up your XP involves much more than simply cleaning your registry. I don't think there is a single free program to really optimize XP. I never came across any software (although it might be out there) which allows you to tweak whether Windows Kernel should be place into RAM, which prefetch files should be loaded, whether 8dot3 name creation in NTFS should be allowed and whether a boot defrag should be performed or not. All these as well as numerous others like the startup applications, auto start services etc. have an influence on XP's performance.

i agree with you odie, that is not only in free or shareware software it must be also some hardware involved like the consistency of all the hardware that you put on your pc

You could just wipe everything off your system and reinstall a fresh copy of Win XP
