Unable to install Windows XP

I have a problem, don't know is my Windows 7 problem or my laptop problem, when i insert my XP, it doesn't make me install, so i boot into CD, still no luck and no popup. So i try using my modified version of XP(Not pirated, it just remove useless program and process) still no luck. What is the problem>?

I think it's your cd. Try another cd and the problem still there?

Just to make sure: you did not meddle around with autorun?

My PC doesn't have any problem, but laptop have. Not CDs problem.

Probably a CD Burner problem, IMO.

Do this- Burn another ISO to a Fresh CD and Pop it in your other PC/any friend's PC. If it doesn't work, then it's a CD/DVD Burner issue.

No, when i install Ubuntu and 7, it will make me install without problem. So, i think my computer doesn't let me install XP maybe.

Just for sure , check it with another copy of Windows XP .

i think its the cd, i also encounter it once when i was reformatting my friends pc as i have a xp os and uses it a lot thats when i realized that i need to create another one coz its really not that 100% readable
