You don't even get an error message, right? Did he turn all the power off (including battery) before restarting?

Yup, i don't even get an error message. He did't use battery when formatting the notebook. Just use the adapter, half way installation notebook hang. He press start/off button and the problem comes.

I am afraid you have got a hardware problem (though I am at a loss how you did it). The only thing I can say is, find the technical guide on internet (not just the Get-Started flyer), and look at the errors that might occur. Also whether or not there is a fuse that might have been blown up.

Sorry Kees, i try my best to find a guide from internet. But i'm don't find any ways to get clue what is going on. My workplace full of blocking, TMNut (me from malaysia) keep blocking me to see others forum that discuss about the problem i'm really frustrated, mad, dont know where to ask. So i've come here again.. asking for the clue.
