One of my client has a software that prints CHECK.

Recently, it is not printing properly. It prints but it doesn't follow the alignments configured on the software. Another problem is that it suppose to print only 1 page but then it separates into printing two pages.

I am pretty bad at solving printing problems. So was wondering if anyone of you know what should I check first?

    1. Will try to remove the driver and reinstall. Printer is quite old and Windows XP has that driver built-in.
    2. Re-create all the settings and try printing.
    3. If still doesn't solve, will remove driver, software and settings. Then reinstall everything.

I found one of tip to solve the problem. Not sure if this will solve the problem.

Q: My printouts get splitted into two, the first half is the partial document and the second half is garbage. What's happened?

A: This is a software problem with Microsoft printing client. To avoid the problem, turn off background printing in Windows. Besides, do not check print queues using the net print command in a DOS box (or using the PC menu) while the application is still busy in printing.
