    Why my laptop DVD drive cannot read DVD but can read CD. I had reinstall the drive and use the CD-cleaner also the same. My laptop DVD-Drive is fix on the laptop. I can't remove it out.

    Use Nero InfoTool and see if it still can read DVD. Also please tell me the firmware version displayed in InfoTool. I'll try to look for new firmware.

    After I had use the InfoTools. It show that it can read and write DVD-R,+R,-RW,-RAM...........

    Actually what is Firmware means?

    The Firmware version is 1.90.

    There should be no problem since it supports +R and -R. Try using some other software playing that DVD. Sometimes software may also cause troubles.
