I would recommend that you should go for a Dell and if you can't have Dell, then go for HP .Simple :)

The best High performance model that fits well in the budget is DELL XPS M 1530

    Thanks..

Is Intel Wireless good?I heard broadcom is better. What do you think?

I am thinking of buying a notebook with built in a/b/g/n or should I buy only a/b/g only? Can I replace the a/b/g in future with a/b/g/n?

This purchase of notebook is very important for me as I never had a laptop in my life due to the past financial incapability. So, now that I am financially stronger and with delayed target of buying a notebook for myself for about 3 years, I want to make sure that this purchase must be excellent.

You should get the one with a/b/g/n.

IEEE 802.11n is a proposed amendment to the IEEE 802.11-2007 wireless networking standard to significantly improve network throughput over previous standards, such as 802.11b and 802.11g, with a significant increase in raw (PHY) data rate from 54 Mbit/s to a maximum of 600 Mbit/s.

You won't want to miss that...

I agree with Lenogris that Dell XPS 1530 is the best choice that you can take.

I'd think I'd get either a Macbook, IBM ThinkPad, Dell XPS, or a good Dell with some high ass specs.
