    Impossible to communicate with scanner

    I have this message (translate from French) with my Epson DX8450 :

    Goto Device Manager and see if the scanner name has a question mark or yellow exclamatory mark on it. If yes, then the drivers has not been installed properly.

    latest drivers : Ok
    drivers correctly installed : Ok
    uninstall et new install

    problem still remain!!!

    yes but no problems with USB

    except it is generic (microsoft) usb drivers, not from the motherboard manufacturer
    Perhaps it could be the problem
    my motherboard is : ECS RC410-M
    it is easily to find the drivers ?

    no, not the drivers for the scanner but the drivers for the USB ports of the motherboard (manufacturer drivers)
