    It automatically detect all wireless network if you are using new laptop no matter what Streamyx or what.

    Not really, even the newest cards can't be detected perfectly by Ubuntu.

    Might get even easier with Jaunty coming out Lunar. Also, it was written for 8.04, if I remember right.

    Hi Everyone,
    I want to install my NVIDIA drivers, I've now got an internet connection and is working well on Linux

    I tried System>Administration>Hardware Driver there were 2 option (version 173) and (version 177)[Recommended], I clicked on version 177 and then clicked on the below given activation button.
    I got the following error,
    SystemError:E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    please some one assist, me in getting this nvidia drivers install

    will the new version of ubuntu solve the problem, presently I've ubuntu 8.10 installed.
