Quicktime Like User Interface, Movist Is The FLV Player For Apple Mac OS X

Mac users are unique, especially Mac OS X. It needs to be different from a PC, and this goes with every single piece of software in the market, even Microsoft Office for mac has to be designed from ground up to suit the mac.

If you’re looking for a FLV player that has the mac like feeling, look no further. Movist is the answer, unlike VideoLan for mac with its ugly user interface, Movist is a free and open source movie player for Mac OS X based on QuickTime and FFMPEG. Movist is a media player that comes support for high quality captions, playlists, media playback controls, full screen control panel, and extensive subtitle options.

Movist is perhaps the best flv player for mac in term of UI, those who are bored with VLC’s outdated UI should give Movist a try.

I won't delete, because when Raymond comes back, I'm going to suggest that we have a Linux/BSD sub forum, and a Mac sub forum. But tis my logic, perhaps...

(For the moment, why not just allow Mac stuffs to be discussed here?)

Back to topic, I agree VLC default UI is UGLY!!! But there are themes/skins that helps to make it look better..

    P.S. I don't have a Mac
They call me the mysterious one...

There are themes, yes, but under Macintosh, I don't believe you can use them...
