    i'm thinking of going to Crunchbang or Opensuse if i could dual boot with windows.

    Both will dual boot for you. Crunchbang supports Windows, so does SuSe.

    Two times tried and failed to dual boot opensuse 11.2!still i'm searching for a way to do that.may be i can image the winodws drive,restore it again after installing suse to regain the windows bootloader,then use easybcd to get suse again.

    It would be easier if you use Puppy Linux's Grub configuration... for the most part, it autodetects what you'd like to do

    and you stole that idea from me when you had that issue with some bootloader!

    any sort of compensation i can get for that?
