    Nokia 6500s and 8gb memory card

    my friend has a nokiea 6500s, and his dad gave him a 8gb microsd card. he formatted it and used for his hp. but the hp only is recognizing 3.5gb.
    why is it?
    6500s supports up to 8gb
    what format shoulod he format it to?

    Er, on topic.

    It probably recognizes only 3.5 gigs is just because of some fundamental memory capacities.

    Simply, your 4 GB card only has 3.5 GBs in it. Just one of those things that always happens in the memory business.
