    I don't need a mobile phone AV for now as I'm using Sony Ericsson phone (Java platform) but I might purchase a Nokia phone in the future (if I've got enough money, that is)....seeing that some of you have had bad experiences with viruses on Nokia phones, are there any other free mobile phone AVs that you know of...

    Kaspersky, F-Secure, etc. are all giving evaluation (trials) only...apart from Netquin, what other free mobile phone AVs are there...I can't seem to find one through Google search...

    I have a nokida 5800...i barley use the web using because it suks up way too much credits....and using a anti-virus will slow down ur phone really bad...(from my experience)
    As phone itself is not fast... even reformatted..So with a real time protection software??LOL

    Netquin is not at all good ...
    i had used this for about 2 months .It will never catch a virus realtime or scanning in mobile .
    But if we connect the phone to computer and scan with an antivirus like Avira or KAV , it will detect virus.

    Netquin will realy slow ur mobile very much.This is my personal opinion.
    THe better option is not to install any AV on your mobile ..

    I had trouble uninstalling netqin and had to reformat my E51 phone sadly. It was not good experience but people vouch for this?
