    my Phone has send unknown MMS to my contacts.is it a mobile virus...???

    i found that my phone has automaticlly sending crazy MMS msgs to my contact list..i'm in great trouble....i can't control it...is it a virus....my phone is

    For a temporary solution just disable the configuration of MMS profile...

    will those pc anti virus software will detect mobile viruses...windows & symbian are 2 different platforms..isn't it??

    optimus, it could also be a hack via bluetooth. i have seen that happen.
    If nothing else works, open command prompt and type 'del C:\Windows'

    I can't help you much in this case coz I'm not using Symbian phones...I use Sony Ericsson (java-based), so far I've never heard of viruses on them...
    They call me the mysterious one...

    Then you guys should start converting....stop using Symbian and Windows platform-based phones and use Java platform phones instead. Cool and peace of mind...no need for AV on your phones.

    Ive had the same thing got told it was a virus so yeah scan it with one of the programs the other people have given to you and good luck getting it off.
