Which smartphone would you recommend?
I have never owned a smart-phone before....and I thought of asking you guys these few questions:
Which smartphone would you recommend? There are quite a number of brands and models...eg. HTC, Samsung Omnia, etc...
Which is the best for what purposes and which is the most value-for-money? What's the cheapest smart-phone there is in the market? Is there any particular feature that you like that is available in one and not in another smart-phone?They call me the mysterious one...
my motto is...when it's hot, chill baby

What is your budget?
I think the cheapest touchscreen smartphone is Nokia 5233/5230

what 'smart' features you wanna use? i would rather have a stupid phone with 400 hours autonomy big SD card & Carl Zeiss lens - no one can answer your question that depends on your location; in US you can get an iPhone for $50 but in EU, if anyone sells same phone below $300 it will be accused of dumping n given lawsuit... beautiful wonderful world

Easy, the Super AMOLED and bada OS, the Samsung Wave
or HTC HD2.

Wow...actually I'm not buying it now. I don't have the budget yet but I'm considering as to what I should buy if I plan to do so...
I know there's Windows Mobile and Symbian OS, which one's better in your opinion?
As for 'smart' features, honestly I don't know...what are the most important features you think there must be in a smart-phone?
And which brand do you favor most - I know of HTC, Samsung and Nokia. Any others? Definitely no LG for me
P.S. I'm totally clueless, so bear with me..

Personally, my brand of choice would be HTC. High-end phones with touch screens, and probably the most Android phones. You could get the HTC Hero, HD2, Touch 2, HTC Touch Pro 2 (if you like keyboards), or the Diamond 2.

There's Windows Phone 7 Series on late 2010, so you can wait and buy it.

This site offers one of the best reviews for mobile phones (if not the best and fastest reviews).
But lately the english language site, does not get to be updated so fast as the russian language site.
You can use translator to translate which review you like.
I think that it's much better if you chose which phone best suits yours needs, than to ask which one is better, because there will always be someone who just "prefers" one brand and everything that is not produced by that brand is not good.
