Audio Player of Choice

Just wondering what people are using to play their music.

I'm personally happy using AIMP2 under Windows, qmmp, XMMS, or Audacious2 under Linux. XMMS isn't actively being developed, but qmmp and Audacious2 are, so I tend to use them more often then not.

I use them mostly because they are minimalistic, they provide functions I use and need daily (EQ, Playlist, and MP3/Ogg playback).

And that's all I need. That and I can throw them in the corner also helps me choose them over anything else.

What about you?

I just use the built-in Media Player on Win7. On Linux Mint I use Banshee...they have all I need.

Bleh... I can't stand WMP, I don't know why... but it's too much for me these days.

I use either MediaMonkey or Winamp. Both are great for customizing the player and your library for what you want.

Default WMP ( + DFX plugin ) and my favorite Zune software ( for my Zune HD ).

media monkey in windows and rhythmbox in ubuntu because i need a library to keep a track of all my tracks :P and a converter tooo(mediamonkey) and under puppy i dont play any media files

I use Foobar2000 for audio and DivX for video.

Bleh... I can't stand WMP, I don't know why... but it's too much for me these days.

I just want to listen to music...that's all. I don't need to create playlist etc. That's why I don't bother installing a new player.
