Saving File on a Network Machine
Hi,
I want to save a file on a LAN Network Machine, so that if I use any pc on the network I can plug in the IP and download that file from that machine.
But I don't have Admin access to that machine, and whenever I save any file on machine, after restarting the machine it automatically vanishes. I tried saving the file in WINDOWS folder, but it vanishes after the pc is restarted.
Any changes I make to system vanishes after the pc is restarted.
Any ideas how to do that?

There will be a folder called as Shared folder. Keep the documents, etc in there. it should not vanish

also pls read Home and Small Business Networking
Hope it helps
