What feature to look for in modem

Well i was wondering about the must have features in a fout port adsl modem+router can u suggest me if there are any? And also which one is good dlink's? tplink's or beetle's:rolleyes:

I've only tried Dlink and they are OK. I'd prefer Belkin or 3Com.

i think that is depend on your usage , if you want to have computer connected wireless, then you can look forward the modem -router with wireless capabilities ,
for me i look for forward is the support and the brand

i think this will depend on your location or country
like Malaysia , we can get dlink support easily (in case in have any problem)

and second think is the support of the modem this also depend on the package you subscribe

ADSL MODEM ROUTER -> can support up to 1-8Mbps
ADSL 2 MODEM ROUTER -> can support up to 8-12Mbps
ADSL 2+ MODEM ROUTER -> can support up to 12- 25Mbps

if your going to be playing games on things like xbox live or downloading games and movies constantly get a ADSL 2+ modem. for playing internet games on your pc ADSL 2. if your just wan't to surf the internet quickly but not pay to much money go for ADSL.
