    Angry How to detect which default gateway

    I have been tryin to find out the default address my network area people are usin so as to connect with them...
    As no one among them i know n Norton 2009 view network shows them how do i find out what Default Gateway they are usin...
    ISP guys say that they are not providing a hub..
    Plz Suggest somethin..

    If you're connected to the network, just go to Run and type cmd.
    Then type ipconfig in the command prompt. That will show you your default gateway.

    There's another way, double click your NIC/lancard icon, click support, click details and you will see not only your default gateway.

    There are two gateway, one provided by your ISP when you connect to the internet (this is the default) and another when you are network/lan connected. I think what you want is for your network/lan where your network pc's connect.

    Your ISP will not provide the hub for your network...you have to buy it.

    hey u'll got me wrong i want to know the default gateway others r using...
    I guess someone has setup his pc as a Hub to connect a few PC's i want to know that one...

    I don't think you are able to know other people's default gateway.
